The Pan Mass Challenge

It started as a ride. It started as a way of remembering a mother or a sister. A father or a brother. A friend or someone they had just met. Less than 20 friends getting together to ride and remember someone that had succumbed to cancer. More than 20 years later and donations totaling over $100 million dollars, it has turned into an event. An event that celebrates those that have survived and for those that will.

We ride in remembrance. We ride for those not yet cured. Those that cannot say, "I am cancer free for one year, two years, three years". We ride for those not old enough to experience a Red Sox World Championship, or a Patriots Super Bowl victory. We ride for those that cannot understand why this has happened to them and for those that never had a chance to fight back. We ride for those who wait for a cure.

I am part of the PMC family – a unified force working toward a common goal. We’re athletes, weekend warriors, or (like myself) have little previous cycling experience. But we all have one thing in common - the commitment to helping others and being part of an effort much larger than ourselves.

I am part of the PMC family - and I need your help. I hate asking for money, so I won’t. Instead, I’m inviting you to a fundraiser.

Please join me in supporting this great cause.
